Great argument, but I believe the State Champion will come from 7AAA.

Don't think Pats stated they were giving out championships tonight, but that tonight's games might be better than what we see next week. That is not an unreasonable statement. It is quite possible the games tonight will be much better than the mismatches we have seen at the ST in AAA. But, that's why they play the games. Most any team is capable of "laying an egg". I'm tired of hearing about good old 7AAA, but it's hard to argue their dominance over the past 5-6 years.

Riverdale beat Morristown West and Bearden in double digits in the summer and completely destroyed Oak Ridge in a pre-season game in early November by about 40.

 

I also watched Riverdale JV beat Knoxville Webb Varsity (less Scheetz who was hurt) by 20 in a November playdate.  Knoxville Webb beat Bearden by 9 this year.

This is where you are wrong.  There is no way Bearden, William Blount or Oakridge can hang with any of these four teams.  Morristown West has an outside shot but i believe Riverdale will win the state tournament.  You heard it hear first.
