I am requesting all of Hampton's shoes be tested for performance enhancing drugs. You never know what those Nike pumps have in them anymore .

It usually helps....we'll practice at UT again...hope it helps our shooting percentage more than it did last March!

If Hampton can turn CC over or even just keep um frusterated they will probably win ,if CC can break the press and get easy looks cc probably wins. Alot depends how the refs call the game and who shoots well from the free throw line.

Good points Pujo. Also, CC seems to be real good 3 point shooters when they are shooting set shots. The only games I have watched is where other teams were playing a zone and CC shooters were able to get their feet set, then check the wind LOL, and then fire the three.  I haven't seen how CC shoots the three with someone in their face.  

 

I am sure our coaches will have a game plan in order to make the three point shot tough on CC. Otherwise, if CC shoots wide open threes all night, Hampton could be in trouble.

We will be prepared and have a good game plan, Ned  does a great job. Ithink it will just take a more overall talented team to beat us. Basketball is a day to day thing,sometimes everything falls and other days you can't buy one. This stuff is hard to pick,

I am curious to which games you have actually watched. Clay Co won a district where the 4th placed team won 22 games and all the district teams played tough defense.

 

CC also beat another state tournament team in Van Buren by 30 and 16. VB plays very good defense. Which teams did you watch them play?

I have seen CC play VB twice (at VB and the other I believe was at Livingston Academy) Zones were all that were played and the CC team simply passed it around the three point line until they got a shot. I didn't see any defense that moved with the pass or any hands up, etc. Most of the time, the defense had their hands down and moved after the catch was made. No man to man, no pressing type of defenses, no trapping defenses. IDK, maybe I just watched some bad games.

 

I didn't notice any tough defenses played against CC, but I am not a coach, just a fan and what do I know? Maybe CC has already seen the toughest defenses imaginable.
