My vote for the player of the week in the region this week goes to Hunter Hammon #76 from Fairview High School. It was great to see the video of his scoring play online and how excited his teammates were for him. Awesome!

this Friday will play a huge role in how the region plays out. I mean fairview could still end up 3rd in the region depending on the results of the next 2 weeks. Amazing to be 8-0 and there's still that possibility

Still a lot left to play, but who does everyone see as front runners for end of year region awards?  Which ones are solidified already and which one will be determined by how far the player goes in, or effects playoff results?

 

Does outstanding play get hurt by a teams dismal season? Thoughts?

If I remember correctly last years region Offensive player of the year went to Jacob Stone. East Hickmans QB on a 1-9 team.

2 weeks of regular season to go and a district championship on the line. Now is when the MVP'S should start to step up and stand out.

The question would be is how good would their teams be without them? Both are battling for a region championship
