District 14AA and Region 7AA 2016/17 season

Dyersburg will be representing Region 7 in Murfreesboro if they are playing they A game. Now with Haywood losing Boyd, that maybe opens the door for two teams from our side. Douglass and Craigmont aren't juggernauts in Region 8.

Won't be any upsets in this district except if you counted 4/5 game an upset.

McNairy, Chester and Bolivar will not beat one of the top 3. Question is who will get advantage by playing at home. McNairy/Chester game will be huge, Chester win good mean a 3 way tie.

FW's win last night puts them in first, SS will be 2nd and Lexington 3rd. I don't think Lexington will beat SS again so FW and SS in finals.

None of these teams will beat Dyersburg, they can score and they play great defense and all of them can handle the ball. Westview, Crocket and Obion can be beat but also have the ability to beat 14AA this year

So FW and SS can't be Dyersburg right? Is that what you saying?

the whole West Tn is wide open, Regions 7 and 8 are wide open.

 

Last year we put SS in the state tournament and they got bounced in the semi-finals. So I wouldn't put Dburg in the glass house just yet. But I do think the region 7 will represent west Tn in Murfreesboro.

 

Dyersburg is the team to beat this way, but that mean they are the hunted now, they are not hunting

Boyd is likely done. He tore his meniscus out 4-6 weeks unless something miraculous happens. Hopefully the 4 weeks for his sake

Yes. There were a couple questionable calls but thats the going thing. Rose fouled out on a flop over the back play on a rebound and Fuller was yelling timeout with 3 secs on the clock after a FT and the short old white haired ref did not award it to him before the shooter received the ball. Reed and McBride for SS played well in OT as well as the guards for FW. York is nice!

So the reason FW won is because it was some questionable calls and Rose fouled out?

Will not be a single upset in District 14AA unless you consider who ever wins 4/5 game an upset.

I don't think if FW or SS are playing their best and Dyersburg plays it best that Dyersburg will lose.

They are deep, can handle the ball and guard.
