I'm setting at 57 with pujo and bluedevil,I do a lot of gut calls on the West teams also.I don't want to spend the time researching them.Heck you have a 50/50 chance!LOL.

I have 6 underdogs this week did pretty good with 6 last week.Some obvious wins that didn't win got me good tho!

On the games that I'm not sure of, I read the message boards (Thanks CoachT) and look for clues that might help my decision. And you're right Pujo, puters don't help much until about week five.

Mine generally kick in around week 4, then they are running very smooth and accurate.  You are correct though, many times at the beginning of the year I am picking against what I know will happen.  Take last week for instance, I had to pick against Maryville and Independence even though I knew they would probably win those games.  I had Centennial by 0.38 going into the game after week 1 though, so I had to pick them because I want to stay true to the ratings.

Early in the year, I use how many players a team has lost from last year, and I look at the game history of the two teams playing each other. But, as always, it's just a guess! LOL!

Its not a bad pick anyway.HV will be pretty hard to beat. This region is fairly tough this season.

Took HV after seeing a little film on them on purpose. Took Jefferson over Maryville because of my fat hands 😅 HV's d-line is a quick bunch and they fly to the ball
