Science Hill at Elizabethton

Well you have to have confidence to be a winner. Stop being such a worry wart. A couple of games and the QB and defense will be in tip top shape. Until then our running game will keep the defense off the field. Trust me, Elizabethton ain't got nuthin for the Toppers.

Is Adams still going to start at QB this year? Do we have any weapons at WR this year aside from Martin?

Elizabethton is a good early test for the team. I still think this will be a close game.

Fans of Science Hill sound like DB fans.On a high horse. And of course, all their kids are superior athletes compared to us peasants who are not in 6a. They are in denial about having more depth or anything like that. Betsy all the way.

Not many Science Hill fans on here from what I can see. And don't compare us to DB fans. They've "assumed the position" over in Kingsport. I think they won 4 games last year. Might win 4 more this year with a little luck.

Thats okay buddy. You'll come around to my way of thinking in a couple years. Johnson City has way more athletes and way better athletes than what you will find in Greeneville. People are just now starting to warm up to Stacy Carter as coach. The kids are buying into his system. You can see it happening little by little. Kids are wanting to transfer from other schools around to be a part of it. Stacy will have them on par with Maryville in a couple more years. Just wait and see.

I don't think kids are wanting to transfer in.  DB is just kicking them out...

I highly doubt bingobob is an authentic Science Hill fan. SH fans are much more reserved regarding SH football, even after the successes of the recent years, or they don't even bother spending time on boards such as this. For most, the dark ages of SH football, which lasted nearly two decades, are still fresh in our memories. It is more plausible that bingobob is a DB fan in disguise.

Not every Topper fan is like you pal. Some of us cheer when we go to games. Somebody comes on here and talks positive about Science Hill and you think their a DB fan? Where's the logic in that?

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
