Want to give prayers to the Fisher family, Hillsboro HS and Metro community who have been impacted by the life of Walter Fisher who I was told passed away this week. He was a great individual who mentored countless kids and faculty during his time at Hillsboro HS. He held that school together when things got tough. He was someone I talked to frequently for wisdom and support. He will be greatly missed!

Antioch thought they scored a TD and went to the ref but didn’t and time was running. Hillsboro pulled it out.

After touring several MNPS I was amazed to find that most of the shower rooms were being used for equipment storage.  When I ask the question as to why this was happening, I was told that kids don't take showers after practice anymore.  I would like to ask one question; with staph infection, Mirsa and other highly infectious diseases being so prevalent why it would not be mandatory for kids to take showers immediately following football practice?

To be real I don’t even think it’s just a MNPS thing. A lot of kids don’t shower after practice. Now as far as using it as storage rooms that might be a Mnps thing because they don’t want to pay for that water usage lol.

I think Hillsboro might be the second best team in metro this year. They got size, speed and a QB. Antioch skill players looked good but the linemen didn’t impress me which everyone knows you win in the trenches. I feel we will have to start our sophomore QB to have a chance this season.

I only seen clips but agree on Hillsboro. I said last year give Antioch QB 3 years. Last year was the shock factor but this year teams won’t take them lightly. Will they beat CR for the region again this year? Also which one of them non region teams can they beat to get over the 4 win hump? Playoffs that Williamson County matchup is Rough. My sleeper this year is HL
