TP bro in law Coach Grah is the OL coach

Parks is the OC

I couldn't imagine marrying into that family. The kids love him though. Everything I hear about him through the middle school is top notch.

It doesn't sound like people those at cane ridge are still very fond of parks after last week's thread. I don't know much about him though.

It's fun to watch MJ get hype all offseason long then self destruct every year losing to mediocre to sub par teams every year.... The oline you guys have sucks I don't care how big they are they suck period... You alls receiving core sucks.. The biggest thing that sucks though is Perry.. Can't coach his way out of a wet paper sack and at the end of this season I bet he will be out... One more thing to add- MJ fans its not 2011-2012 so stop thinking it is!!

It's Lebanon. Really? That said, I think they should be much better too. Let's not get away from the fact that MJ should be much better. If 5-5 makes everyone at MJ happy,so be it. I wouldn't be content with it, as a coach or fan.

How about waiting until they are actually 5-5.... Not just writing them off for the entire season after losses of 8 and 5 points to Cane Ridge and Ravenwood.

I'm not a fan, so it's not writing them off. Just a prediction. A rebuttal to those talking so highly. Mt Juliet isn't very good and I don't think it's coaching.

I think the players are not in position to make things happen. The games I've seen so far is they need more than one play maker on offense. The kid they have playing qb is dangerous but surely he can't be the only play maker on the team. Running that Hayes kids off was a mistake if that is what happened. Regardless he is no longer on the team and the staff had no one to replace him with but a kid that can only run? Seriously? I could understand if it were Watertown that lost their qb and didn't have a replacement, but at a school that size they don't have a sophomore to at least throw the ball? When you have freshman and jv teams that won as much as they do where are those qb's? I'm just not sure but there is something odd about this program.

Ravenwood is not a "mediocre to sub par team" and I explained why in an earlier post. MJ fans need to give themselves more respect, they are gonna win a lot of games in the region this year.

    • Eagleville hosting shows laziness on the part of the TSSAA and a complete disregard for the appearance of impartiality. Absolutely nothing against EHS. Its not their fault TSSAA is lazy.    I understand EHS staff work the games at Eagleville, and they don’t want to miss the EHS games. However this isn’t rocket science. It would take less than 1 hour to cross-train EHS and RHS volunteers at the opposite sites. If Eagleville (or any host)  makes the tournament, flip their game site and have the volunteers flip sites for the days their school plays at the opposite site. Magically the school’s fans would be present to watch the their kids play and the kids at least lose some familiarity and home field advantage.  It takes almost no effort and is a ~15 minute extra drive.
    • We feel the pain!
    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
