I think both of those teams are very good, but hopefully Humboldt faces them...it will be in Humboldt. Humboldt is a different team at home in that old gym with the crowd. Congrats to Coach Abernathy!

Common sense! Lol! Dude there's no way you'll get me to believe if UC was hosting the regional tournament that you would say, hey lets have the tournament at Bethel! No way!

Not taking anything away from Bethel, but how does playing on Bethel's floor prepare anyone for what's to come in the Murphy Center? I like Bethel's facility a lot, it's nice... but I think the whole

Humboldt plays very well together. A really good team. Union City continues to have injuries to starters. But, Stewart and Polk can carry the team on their shoulders. I would take a win against Humboldt Saturday but the most important is to play them in the Regional finals and send them to Memphis. Stewart is by far the best player in District with Polk from Union City a top district / Regional player also. Trenton is getting better each game. Halls is done.

I concur. Have heard a lot about the Stewart kid but haven't ever seen him live until last night. WOW!!!!!!!!

 

That kid had almost 40 and it was effortless. He has huge size for a guard and shoots the leather off the ball. Clearly the best player I've seen around here in a long time. Not even close. Ole Mi$$ is getting a good one.

 

Going back to watch UC verse Humbolt tomorrow night.

The biggest lead Humboldt had was 14 points, Trenton played a good game tonight, Trenton has improved every game they've played Humboldt losing by 21, 16 & 9 tonight! Humboldt plays the winner of UC/Halls Saturday at 7pm at UTM, tournament time & not going to blow teams out because everybody has improved!!

 

I told u all Peabody may be a sleeper! Trenton has a pretty good team. But they have no depth. Any who has watched Humboldt one of the best things they do is the Vikings do not get rattled always calm and poised.Good teams when close games. UC and Humboldt will be another battle Saturday night. Both teams will be ready to play. Get ready it will be a good one! Stewart will get his points no doubt, But UC will have problems with Humboldt's big men. I don' think UC is strong enough to stop them.Pankey is strong as a bull. Humboldt also has a good shooting in Walker great ball handler as well!

Stewart is one of the best if not the best shooting guard I have ever seen! He does makes it look so easy. My friend and i were talking last night we both agree the Tornadoes are a top ten team. I don't understand why they were not in the top ten UC has a good team! Stewart was shooting NBA three's last night.

Just left the game. Humbolt wins a close one at the end. Questionable no call on the Stewart kid. I have to be honest though, the Stewart kid is soooooo much better than anyone on the court. I had no idea he was that good. There were literally 3 guys trying to guard him the whole game and he went for 30!!!!!! Was obviously named district MVP

Yes Stewart is a great player but 18 points came from the free throw line can't touch him & he does a lot of pushing off & was over the back several times but Humboldt pulled together the last 3:00 minutes but a stupid tech for Humboldt player at the end when we had ball up 5 with 2.1 secs left!!

      One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.

      It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
