Haven't seen DJ play this year. He was really good last year. If he is better, which he probably is I know he has a good chance to win.

#22 for Fayetteville tore up my Raiders last week. Rushing, receiving, and defense. I know they are two different backs and both are good, but either back has a chance. Good luck to DJ rest of the year though

DJ is a great back...especially for 1A. However, I think if Huntland doesn't make the play-offs, which it looks doubtful they will, it will greatly hurt his chances in my opinion. Just too many good backs / QB on winning teams. Kind of like the Heisman, if your team is winning it greatly helps the cause. Good luck to DJ at Wake Forrest.

DJ is a great back and an even better young man.  Best of luck to him with Mr. Football and at Wake Forrest.  When he gets on a college weight program he will do very well.

Yes, the Majority of his offers are for Linebacker. However, 2 power five schools,Army, and Navy like him at RB.

Fair or not if his team can't even make the playoffs he has no chance to be nominated. My question would be if he is one of the top talents in the state for 1A how is the team not achieving great things? Is he pretty much the team? To me it just doesn't add up to being a serious contender if you're team isn't pretty good. I'm happy for the kid going to Wake Forest that is awesome, but the question remains why aren't they doing big things?

Our Team has 27 players and consist of 4 seniors and 3 Junior s the rest are freshman, sophomores, and two 8th graders...Does that add up? It should.

DJ has put up big numbers in back to back weeks 300+ yards both times...also many,many,many key tackle stops and blocked extra points as well

If they win Friday night, there is a good chance they will be in SP so you cant get a good look at him.
