The TSSAA could have made this work for KC and the rest even with three classes in Division II, just have small regions and made the cutoff 500, a good round number. It would have cut down on regular season travel for everyone unless they just wanted to play in Nashville or Memphis. Use byes in the first round. If the Nashville groups need to be shuffled for competitiveness, so be it. KC could play these two, maybe Webb and CAK, Maryville, Fulton etc.

For the other sports, play Baylor and McCallie/GPS, that's four games. Go to Chattanooga on Friday evening and play Baylor, play McCallie/GPS the next day. Or play one of them and Notre Dame the next day. Everyone has a lot of non district games anyway, fill them with Webb, CAK, anybody else that will play. Everyone advances in the postseason and you have several not listed that don't have football.

Yup. But the jester and his court of buffoons won't listen to the people their decisions actually affect.

Privates probably should have pointed out a way the t$$aa would have profited off of it and they'd accepted it easily.

stop defending KC... Everyone knows they are running from competition bc there's no way funding is a problem so that's the only answer that is plausible

He's defending the school because his child graduated from there. People are getting on here calling Catholic cowards and cheaters etc etc. So be it everyone is entitled too their thoughts after all it's a social media board. My oldest daughter played basketball for Catholic. She was on that bus that flipped over just going to Gatlinburg to play a game. As a parent that's a call you never want to receive that your child is in danger. So for people to say it's not about the traveling to me it is. Multiple trips out of town with a coach usually driving the bus, that's is not safe and I'm not talking just football or basketball it would impact other sports. You demanded that Irishbball stop defending the school but yet you criticize, until you've been in that situation with a sheriff calling your house telling you your child was hurt (and I truly hope that you or no one on here ever experiences what I went through) then you'll never get it. Private or not to me it's all about the safety of my child.
