Everyone seems to think that Dr. Satt has his hand still in the cookie jar. From what i've seen and heard from reliable sources, he showed up the last couple of years, well probably since taken the DOS position, only on Friday Nights as a spectator, except on a couple of occasions against big rivals (FCS is the only time that im aware of). He has been very hands off the program as he is dedicated to the education side of the school system. People dont realize the work ethic of this man. When he is doing a job, he puts his heart and soul into it. When he coached, I'm certain he slept at the field house on numerous occasions, he was football. But now he is the DOS and you know what, its the same way. He is at the office some mornings by 3 am. His focus is on education, TC Schools are now one of the best in the state. If you dont believe me, just ask some of the teachers in TC schools, as he puts lots of pressure on them to get the most out of the kids. I believe he will hire the best person that he can find thats willing to take the job so that he doesnt have to worry about football.

Ohh I Know. I'm sure Woodmore was and still should be

Woodmore shouldn't be now. I heard he was scared of getting ran out of his hometown if he didn't win 2 years ago when the job opened. If he is "scared" he didn't even need to apply this time, which people say he didn't apply. And if the "scared" comment is true, I'm not sure Satt would even entertain the idea of him being a head coach at TC.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
