Guys, I am sure this young man is a good player, but if anyone thinks that anyone besides Dresser Winn and Preston Rice will get any votes for winning the award they have lost their mind. I will go out further on a limb. I would say Dresser Winn's name is already engraved on it. This race is like the 2016 presidential race. It's OVER.

Ambassador, not to be disrespectful, being as you are obviously very knowledgeable in all things high school football, but I did not edit the title of this thread. It was, and still is, "Nominee". My edit was that I had forgotten to include the part about Brandon's GPA, which I added. I would not presume to say Brandon had or has won the award, just to consider his accomplishments. Thank you for keeping this thread at the top with your comments. But curious, why has no one started one for Rice or Winn?

A thread on coach t has no influence on who will win and those two are highly recognized because they are on great teams. Also Winn won last year but Rice was runner up, that's why I would like to see a comparison of their stats

Agree with final 2 but believe Rice wins it. Thought he should've last year! I'd take him over Winn everyday of the week and twice on Friday's.

you and me both know what the last two qbs did in the playoffs.That won the award after putting up these stats against weak teams to.

Nominees are great but several factors need to be considered. In a poll done by area coaches, level of competition and minutes logged in a game should also be a contributing factor. At several schools across the state if one player touched the ball the whole game you would see impressive numbers everywhere.
