With a win Cheatham goes 6-4 and guarantees themselves a winning year.

 

With the loss Cheatham is now 5-5.

 

I don't think they'd intentionally take away a "winning season" just for a favorable playoff draw.

BCD- since you have a nephew on the team ask him he will know the answer to your questions instead of putting the head coach's integrity into question- and you can say you're not but you are

I also did not state the player was two days too old the night before the game... two days too old to play for the season meaning that a kid who was only 48 hours younger than him was fine to play based on TSSAA standards- the student athlete played in his senior night game for one snap in the first quarter as recognition for what he had given his team throughout the year- the head coach wanted to do something good for that kid never thinking anyone would think otherwise- they had to forfeit bc someone from the school was not thinking about the students and made a decision to turned the coach in for playing a non-eligible player

No conspiracy here just a coach trying to do good by his player and getting screwed because it's not about kids anymore in some people's eyes

When I asked my family they didn't even know CC had forfeited...

 

I have removed my post because, my intent was not to call anyone's integrity into play. I was just trying to explain to the other poster how some other fans not close to the program might raise an eyebrow since the other poster could not fathom someone thinking that. A lot of people always want to think the worse given even the tiniest shred of perceived evidence.

 

I did not understand your first post correctly, it was my misunderstanding and a coincidence. I apologize.

 

Good luck versus Stratford, I think you guys have a good chance.

Ok, I just saw the CPA and Stratford game video that was posted on another thread.  I think it will be close, but Cheatham for sure has a shot.  Need to shut down the quick passing game, and make sure you know where Carter is at all times.
