Round 2 Marion County vs. Watertown

Watertown has an explosive offense and a very good quarterback and receiving core. They definitely have the weapons to beat Marion county. I'll always choose defense over offense and Marion has the better defense plus they're a very physical defense. I hope Watertown wins but I see Marion winning a close one 35-28

I believe this game will go along the lines of 48-20 in favor of Marion County. If you can't slow Boyd anymore than they did then you're in trouble against Marion.

Watertown has a jekyll hyde thing. They could absolutely come out blazin and make this a very competitive game, or they could literally lose a 42-14 type game.

I totally agree. If Watertown is clicking they hard to handle. Marion county don't have the best offense either, but they have a Very good defense. I think this game could be the best matchup in the second round.

I'm sure Watertown's offense is hard to stop when it's clicking but so is Marion's. Watertown averages a 47-18 clip over their 11 games and Marion is 42-9. We have a pretty good defense but if the offense gets going it could be a long night. Better be in shape is all I can say.

problem for watertown is like last year the multiple personality thing rears its ugly head in the middle of games. they have not played a complete 4 quarter game in the 2 years they have been in region 4

I think the defense is better but the offense isn't. Defense is consistent but offense isn't. Still a very dangerous team. Might score 6 pts in 1 qtr then score 40 the next.

Like someone said earlier.... We are used to these big game atmospheres and to me that's a plus. Sometimes the moment gets too big for a player or team. Watertown could come to Jasper and boatrace us. Who knows? If they do my hat is off to them. We've won 22 straight at home for a reason though.
