I'm glad all us Wayne County folks get along. Lol That's what makes us little rural schools so magical. A town behind a team.

I still believe this matchup with Huntingdon is too close to call. Huntingdon going to give NCS all they want.

I know this ain't our thread but I agree, when you have a town as small as ours with 60+ kids on the team and every game, big or small, we pack the stands, run out of standing room, fill the end zone bleachers and have fans stand on the other side and at the field house! Tailgating is growing with folks showing up that I don't even know, gotta love this time of year in Wayne County!! Edited by wildcat89

Just proves that Mr Football is a farce. Jake put up absurd #'s that year and was a #1 student and kid. Mr Football is a complete joke with its middle/east bias

He had over 4000 total yds 56 total tds.And 9 team he played that year made playoffs.Four teams made the semi-finals in three different classes. He did it against tough competition.

Mr. Warbritton was first class (I'm sure he still is).  He sprinted to the sideline to get every play call, sprinted through our defense for who knows how many yards, and then picked up the kid that tackled him time and time again.  Very impressive young man.  Is he still helping (coaching) with the team?

He was fun to watch, along with his brother! They were both great players
