This only happens if Rice has a soft spot for Gordy's coach or program. These teams are not in the same hemisphere. No different from last week in my opinion. Not to mention WC is piling up the numbers for Rice.

Hard to pile up many numbers when he comes out before the second half. WC won't be surprised, they'll be pumped and ready, that you can take to the bank

I would to but there's a lot of football to be played and a lot of good teams out there! Whoever makes it to Cookeville can say they earned it!

I know, no disrepect meant to any team facing WC tonight or next week if so... I have just been thinking that a while now and thought it a good opportunity to say it in response to S-towner since the thread had quieted down some.

Go Wildcats!!!!:thumb:

How many TD's did your running backs get last week in the first half....running the ball. Just saying the wealth isn't really getting spread around much. This is not a knock by any stretch, just an observation.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
