Practicing on thanksgiving is a very cool thing for these kids and they will remember it for their rest of their lives. Hey SP fans, what kinds of plays and formations does a team like SP practice on thanksgiving? That question is only for the sake of seeing how they differ from other schools. 😬

Well.. I did a little spying this morning since I'm in town, but if I told you what I saw I'd have to gag you. LMBO

Bob In the press box, The Cannon Firing, Pre Game Music, The day after Thanksgiving, 50 Degrees, and to top it off South Pittsburg vs Greenback to see who goes to Cookeville. Can it actually get much better than that?

some of my favorite Bob calls...Correction....Will the referee please indicate what the penalty was.....semifinals against Hampton in 2007 Pirates are driving inside the 30 in the second quarter about to score and put the game away Robert Robinson fumbles Hampton guy picks it up and takes it for a touchdown to cut the lead to 7, Bob said OH NO!       Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
