zoneread56
South Doyle comes in on a roll playing very well and Farragut comes in off an extremely emotion win after a few hard fought games.. should be a good game in Knox! hsfootballfan777
At Farragut.Farragut beat them 62 to 26 I believe.SD was banged up and it was close for awhile. Both teams pulled off amazing comebacks. The local tv here in Knoxville was depressed talking about how they would have to pick a game in the Chattanooga area to cover a local team game next week. Then low and behold Farragut pulls one out!! DominateTheTrenches
Seems like Farragut`s offense is rolling. Could be them and Independence for state title?

Unfortunately I think if either of these teams make it to the finals the result will be similar to what was handed to Sevier County last year. Hope I'm wrong, though. Maybe not, but I think there's a big disparity right now with the overall level of play in 5A Middle TN compared to 5A in East TN, but just my opinion of course. Hope one of these two teams proves me wrong.
BarneySox2007
Last year Catholic and Independence were the two hot teams in Cookeville last year. I would bet Maryville or Ravenwood would have had a tough game with either one of those teams.

I think they handed it to Ravenwood in a scrimmage last year. Yeah, scrimmages don't mean much I know, but they would've been a handful for either team, I agree.
