Since no one is "throwing stones" on this forum, those Cleveland parents would be really upset to hear that Coach Williams tried really hard to get Madison Hayes to follow him from East Hamilton to Cleveland. Again, high school recruiting is against the rules. She and her family chose to stay at East Hamilton and she has continued to grow both physically and mentally as a player. She is going to be an outstanding player in the future!

Bradley recruits? Sure. Maybe. Who knows! All other schools in Tennessee recruit outside of Prives? Good possibility! But Cleveland fans are on here bashing Bradley for recruiting?😳!

Coach Q would have had to stay at Maryville for another 10 years to catch up to ole Benny and Allen Jones in recruiting and trying to get "better players" to go to Maryville. True fact if you all want to know. Benny Monroe was the biggest recruiter ever that came out of the state of Tennessee. Allen Jones, till this day still brings in kids to Cleveland! Every Copeland alive was recruited hard from Cleveland. This topic just went and got stupid the last week.

Either way both coaches look BAD!!! If any of this happened both should be ashamed and should be reprimanded.

Yes and anybody saying everybody does it , well does that make it right ? NO ! If you do it you are part of the problem. It's like not understanding the difference between Illegal and legal immigration. Just cause your team does it doesn't mean it's ok.

Where did coach go? Looks like it got to hot for him. Also, having witnessed some of the best of preps tourney I can honestly say that Chattanooga girls basketball is very very very weak. Not bashing any team just saying as a whole. You have to travel north to find good basketball.

AAA...BRADLEY

AA...MCMINN CENTRAL

A...MEIGS

Wouldn't consider these as Chatt area teams but they are by far the three best. Good luck to everyone and Merry Christmas..

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
