Coach Rang's time at Dresden was never meant to be long term IMO. This was a marriage of convenience. Dresden gets a excellent coach and the dust settles in east TN from whatever happened at Powell. He brought Dresden their first gold ball and he deserves to get a head position back where he wants to be. Dresden with their recent success should be able to attract another good coach if he decides to head back east.

Should be a done deal. I'm sure he would make at least 10k plus going back. Plus he would be in 5a where he won't have to contend with Alcoa and Maryville.

 

If I was Dresden I would figure out how to make Justin West to take the job. And find a young hungry alumni to take over the middle school program. What I've seen their still a lot of talented kids in the system

I'm sure coach cruise is a good coach but my top three would be Justin W, the Dubie kid from UC ( don't know how to spell last name) or Lamkins from Gleason. Justin and Dubie both Dresden grads and I would like to see what Lamkins could do with more talent than just a few kids. He really gets the most out of their kids.

Horse has tore loose from the cart and racing east, fat lady has sung and now on vacation in the Bahamas. More money, bigger school and back home why would he stay????

Congrats to Yates for being named offensive MVP of west TN all star game. 3 TD's against some of the best players in all classifications in west TN!

He may have the chance to make more money by going east, but he also has the chance to get to the semifinals for the next 4 years the way our region is set up. So the question him for is is money more important than coaching success here in Dresden.
