Memphis East vs Oak Ridge.......who ya got?

The Young kid played played pretty good in the Brentwood game, is he getting any college looks? Higgins was also incredible, I remember watching him last year in the Penny Hardaway Classic. I think the game will be close, but the disciplined team will win.  

Young isn't getting any offers I don't think. Not many 6'5 post players in college, unfortunately. He plays extremely hard though and gives 110% all game. Win or lose our guys will leave it all on the court tomorrow. That's one thing I can pretty much guarantee. That's what Coach Green expects from them every game, and he usually gets it.

Sleep escaped me last night  as I laid in bed thinking numbers and offers. 6' 8", 6'7", 6'7", 6'4", Memphis, Georgia Tech, Arizona, Kansas, UCLA, UCONN, New York Knicks and Miami Heat. e might has well be playing in the NCAA Field of 64! Memphis East is not the Mustangs they are The Field.

 

Oak Ridge...Clemson football and Naval Academy. That is it. No Community Colleges, no small colleges How is this even fair? Oak Ridge has one of their best teams in its' history and will have to beat The Field.

 

Coach Green says we can beat them. Says this is not the best four out of seven where we would really be in trouble. This is a one shot deal. The Wildcats will face The Field with Higgins, Jones, Young, Gipson, Bush, Smith and Booker. Plus, the entire city of Oak Ridge.

 

Do I like our chances? Got to we have no choice. These are our cards, we will place our money down and play with what the good Lord gave us.

Great game so far. If we can start knocking down some 3's I like our chances. Not hit a one so far and we're down by 1.
