Dresden verses Westview

Anyone get to see Westview at Henry County Friday night? I haven't heard anything in the rumor mill on what they looked like. But for that matter I don't really know what we looked like either.

I heard to conflicting scores. I heard Mckenzie won 34 to 0 but seen on WBBJ that Westview won by the same score. Nobody has said anything either way.

McKenzie won 34-0...Westview looked pitiful, wouldn't surprise me if they had -50 yards for the half.

Dresden came out on fire, played hard all night long.  Henry County's size just wore them out.  5 for Dresden was impressive, ran hard.

Rumor I head was Crawford is starting because Jones was hurt in a non football injury. The other crap is just crap.

.   It's here..... FOOTBALL TIME! 2017 is a new season, new teams in classes & regions, new players & coaches, new plays & schemes, new grass/field, new paint jobs, new equipment... so much new. But what will be same is Dresden Lions will keep on right where we left off last year. Guru's, coaches, experts, football professors, other teams, even some of our own fans are expecting a massive downgrading in Dresden. Methinks not. Lions are in full beast mode. Perhaps even more hungry than last year. Time will tell. GO LIONS!

I got a question. Not trying to ruffle any feathers or anything, but what in the world has happen to all the talent at West View ? I mean they use to be a perianal 8 wins or better team every year. Always was big and fielded great athletes. What has happened ? Its mind boggling to me how much of drop off its been in the last handful of years

Just my opinion, loss of jobs in the area, kids not wanting to work at anything, scared of PTE etc..... Who really knows. Might just be a rebuilding 5 year span.
