I know it doesn't mean much for the current season, but seeing as how many of these players are the future, what does Freshmen Football look like in 6A? Any good squads? Any team that looks to have a bright future?

I think you'll find that the 6A programs that are consistently doing well every year are the programs that have winning Freshman and JV teams every year.

Don't know much around the area except for Bradley. 2 freshman that everyone will definitely hear about on this team is QB Pope and 6'3 WR Tray. If Da Bears can continue to build around them, very bright future for that team.

Would have been a triple whammy if Popes RB would have came with him, but Baylor took him away. Looking forward to seeing Pope and Tray in action today against Walker Valley.

ON THE OTHER HAND.You can throw all that stuff out of the window if the 9th grade talent isn't coached well or put through a great strength program.I know where there is a  6A senior class who was a 9th grade powerhouse ,that now has a three year win- loss record of 12-15.They beat everyone except the Greeneville JV team three years ago and were loaded coming into high school. You can take talent and find a way to lose just the same.
