I really wished the Kollie boys played the whole game but didn't come in till the 4th quarter say what you want but Lingerfelt had those boys ready to play

Well if Crockett can get their act together in the playoffs, they can fight for a chance to get a 2nd shot at Boone, and if Boone can keep rolling, they may face a familiar foe.

I'll take a rematch, heard it was a great game.

I've heard some rumors the Kollie boys are potentially transferring next year. Not saying it's true but it is something I've heard.

GS advised them to transfer.  They were GS die-hards and took his suspension very hard.  I don't believe they had practiced in 2 weeks.  From what I heard, Lingerfelt had been trying to contact their parents to get them back into the fold all week and they finally just showed up at halftime, then he put them in late.  That's how it sounded in the interview he gave to WJHL, at least.

I was at the game tonight.  Early on it was sloppy, then it was mostly Boone with Crockett sputtering throughout the first half in fits and starts.  The second half was a different story.  Great game and good to see the Crockett team continuing to fight through it all.  Congrats to Boone on their first ever conference championship after 40+ years as a school.

If the playoffs were next week I think Crockett would get Halls and Boone would get Sevier Co.    That could all change next week, but who knows, perhaps another Boone/Crockett game could happen.   I'm pulling for Crockett from here on out until/unless the previous sentence happens.    Given all the circus going on, I say GREAT GAME to the Pioneers

That's what I've heard re: Kollie boys. It'll be interesting to see where they wind up if they do indeed transfer. They're good players.

Boone and Crockett both have a chance to make some noise in the playoffs. I was glad the game was played tonight. It turned out to be another great one in this rivalry.

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
