5A Region 5 vs Region 6 1st Round Playoffs

The Big Tuna has been out fishing for a few weeks but it's time to talk about the matchups for the 1st Round. (All records are subject to winning or losing week 10)

Summit 8-2 will host Hillwood 3-7--Summit

Shelbyville 6-4 will host Hillsboro 6-4--Hillsboro

Beech 10-0 will host Columbia 7-3--Beech

Gallatin 7-3 will host Page 7-3--Gallatin

Region 5 will only be favored to win 1 game but Page may pull an upset in the 1st Round. Congrats to all teams for making it to the tournament!

The loss to Shelbyville actually helped Page, IMO. They have a better chance against Gallatin than Hillsboro.

AllRegion you are right: I wouldn't want to be playing Hillsboro right now! Beech will find out how hard it is to beat a team twice. So I might as well predict the second round.

I know the Patriots are a small 5A school having just moved up from 4A but people tell me that they are well coached and have enough talent to beat you on a given night if you aren't playing your best. WT

I'm sorry to say this but this will be our year. It's too bad we moved up this year because 4A would have been good for us! Sad part is that we will be down next year and it will be magnified!
