Huntingdon VS Bye week

Well two more weeks until the playoffs. We've gone through this season undefeated thus far. We've got through the last two torturous games. I have not saw any let up in this group of kids. Plus is we should be healthy. Through the season you could see progress every game, it seemed we continued to get better. The last two weeks, unfortunately I haven't seen that. I did see last night ball carriers palming the football when they carried it. We can't let complacency creep in!  Refocus men its playoff time. More than likely we will get Mt Pleasant in the first round who knocked off Wayne Co earlier in the year. I'm extremely proud of what our kids and the coaching staff have done so far! Be ready for when you get hit in the mouth, to be able to hit back!

You'll have no trouble with MTP if that's who y'all play, or anybody else as far as that goes. I think it's yalls year to win it all

As a Waverly fan you guys have my respect and your posters on here are a class act. Best wishes for y'all as the playoffs are coming up. Go play one game at a time. I know we didnt make it all the way last yr but every playoff game last yr with my son being a senior I just felt  blessed with every game we still got to play and after the semi in Memphis it hit me it was the last football game i would ever get to see my son play. So i say to you Enjoy it and go get that gold ball!

Vandy, did your son go on to play college ball somewhere?

No, he is at Tennessee Tech getting his Engineering degree. I couldn't be more proud of him. We talked about him playing but he just really wanted to focus on school. That's why I say after that game in Memphis it hit me.

Gotcha, I respect you for continuing to follow the Tigers after your son graduated. A lot of fans evaporate as soon as their kids are gone.

#1 for Waverly is family plus I help coach a lot of these kids when they where younger playing Jr.pro football. I will always support Waverly.

    • Clinton fans can only wait and set idle while the school is being drug through the mud and trying to figure out when they have finally hit the bottom.
    • Mancoverage sez: Thank you for weaving, with the written word, such a descriptive tapestry of your mind’s sherlockian thought machinations. It read’s as though it is the collaborative brain child of Thomas “The Ox of Sicily” Aquinas and John “Give Him 6!” Ward. Somewhere in this, the thoughtful mind will find, the exact future of Trousdale County Football. The Goat sez: Ox?!? Pffft. I can do stuff a dumb ole bull can do. I can take an “a” and I can take an “o” and I can do better and more of that bull stuff… in Latin. Diarrhoea Fecaes  The next coach of ole Snoball’s Yeller Jackets, ain’t on that list.
    • One school gets fined over $4,000 dollars because they had a baseball coach that gets ejected over a rule that is not in the rule book today (because no umpires in Tennessee called that rule when that coach was ejected). One school will get fined over $3,000 dollars because they had a football coach intentionally cheated. I hope TSSAA keeps a receipt over what schools they fined and how much, and for what reason. Meanwhile, if I'm a football coach at a school that has $3,000+ in the piggy bank, then hmmm.. No one knew Clinton was cheating intentionally until they went overboard and changed over 1,000 grades, and the word got out.
    • I didn’t know South Pittsburgs schedule could get any easier …
    • I just learned of this today and am very happy for Coach Peek. Excellent coach, better man.
