Shelbyville rolled Tullahoma tonight. Wow. I’m not surprised at the outcome, but I am surprised how easy it was. Has TTown quit on the little guy already? Honest question. No much defense being played over there.

Yeah Cody needs to quit all social media and start coaching. Hype video's on instagram aren't working.

They dribble on sidewalks really well lol     - SWOLE PATROL LMAO - District mvp is now 20 games below .500 in her career and the little guy stopped coaching last night in the 2nd half. On the positive side, his assistant aka HYPE-MAN SCREAMED YEAH 71 TIMES DURING WARM-UPS AND THE FIRST PERIOD!!!!

Wow, you actually counted that? LOL!

I witnessed HYPE-MAN at summer camp and thought surely that would go away when the real games started. Whatever works for you I guess. If the point is to annoy, they have succeeded. I feel sympathy for the Tullahoma people who have to listen to it every night, I can stand it for two games if I have to. LOL. Much like the hype videos, that stuff only plays when you win. When you don't, it just makes you look silly. They should focus on putting their head down and getting better instead of trying to bring attention to themselves.

It was a fairly fast paced and physical game. The officials also let them play a good bit more than I've seen recently- which I'm good with. It was pretty much nip tuck the whole time. Ultimately, Coffee kept their composure and capitalized on opportunities late in the game. They meet again this week and I expect that, too, will be a good game. Cookeville is a solid team.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
