SweetScience
These teams have played 12 times and OR leads the series 10-2. We better not sleep on the Trojans! They came within a hair of beating Catholic earlier in the year and have put up gaudy numbers and points on just about every team they've played this year. The Lenoir City game is a weird one, though. They only scored 15 in that one, but we better be ready. We don't want what happened last year to happen again! Safe travels to the SD fans who make the trip. RWR

chsbobcat09
I’ll take Oak Ridge in a close one and I thank the Wildcats for beating Fulton last night.
atrisk
May get involved later in the week. Still enjoying the POSITIVE aspects of last nights game. Know what I mean?

I do have to agree, we didn't draw a weak # 4 seed in Soddy Daisy. Their offense is talented for sure. I looked at their schedule and they pretty much beat the teams they should have and lost to the better teams. The amount of points they put on the better teams is impressive. The Wildcats need to have short memories this week and get serious about this game. I feel the Cats will continue their steady improvement on offense, their nasty ways on defense and their always dangerous special teams. The community will have to get behind the team and make sure Blankenship is indeed a major plus for the Cats. RWR ,I predicted a win over the Falcons but I don't think I have ever picked anybody but OR. Doh! Just call me OR Homer.

Catholic, the team that took Maryville down to the wire, and who should've won that game in some people's eyes (RW will jump on me for that). We have our hands full, no doubt. Rhea Co.
Soddy has had a very interesting year to say the least. Almost beat Catholic and by all accounts should have beat Catholic. Loss a crazy game against Lenior City. Beat up on a pretty good Ooltewah squad. Beat a very good Red Bank team. Led a good chunk of the Bradley Central game. Then traded TDs with Rhea in a fun game. I will give a lot of credit to Coach Barnes he has turned that program around and he also now has a pretty good defense to compliment his great offense. It it will be interesting to see this game. It reminds me of Oak Ridges opening round game with Walker Valley last year. However, Soddy has a much better defense compared to WV. Edited October 28, 2017 by Rhea Co. Yeah true but that is due to depth. Soddy on defense has given up a lot of the points in the second half. With exception of Catholic where they gave up 42 in the 2nd qt.
