Oh, I have no problem with what you stated. You did a good job of it.  If a person is a HS football fan, ya can't let changing schools, going to a school not in your neighborhood, recruiting, ect,ect., get to you. It's a shame. But it is what it is.

Here is what I'm talking about, at Ooltewah last year over 100 received "hardship" approval to attend school out of zone. I had read a few years back the rubber stamp approval would cease but clearly not.

   I mentioned on another thread that there should be three divisions.  

    Private - if you pay tuition, your private.

    Open zone/ loophole - the kinda stuff your stating.

    Public- go to the school 5hat is closes to the student

     Spent alot of my life looking for Utopia.

Anybody that's cognizant of the demographic situation in Ooltewah it should be pretty obvious that they recruit (call it what you will). When half your team is African American and the town has 1% black population something isn't adding up there.

Correct and Correct and no.  She is one of the Asst. Principals at the high school.  We have a senior, Matt Thompson, who is one of the backup linebackers. I am unfortunately an Illinois Illini fan and we are currently deep in the sports wilderness.

Just watched the replay. I disagree with the "shot to the head" call at the end of the first half.  May rain most of the week.

I don't understand all the shade being thrown at Coach Jones. He's a good coach about to take a turn with the program. What's wrong with winning 8 games a year? Tennesse is a 8 win program is it not? this isn't 98 and Peyton Manning is retired. times have changed. I'm proud of Butch Jones and his boys obviously trust him enough to fight for him. If its good enough for them its good enough for me.

I know a lot of fans from other SEC schools who agree with this and are lobbying hard to Keep Butch Jones.
