Agreed.  The heart and soul of our offense is ball control to shorten the game.  We don't need to go down any scores early.

I came across a Soddy Daisy Twitter page and there were to tweets on the OR vs SD game. Both could have been written by an Oak Ridge fan. The first tweet encouraged Trojan fans to make their way to Oak Ridge and the second tweet points out the difference between SD and OR. The tweet was hoping the Trojan offense would supply them a victory. OR fans are counting on the defense to bring us a win.

Something has to give. That saying, Defense wins championships is going to be on the line tonight. I agree with what has been posted that OR needs a fast start. I also contend we need to be ready to play 4 quarters. There will be times where the Wildcats are going to face adversity and they must not doubt themselves. I am still going with OR 28 - 21. RWR

SD without question is the best offense we have faced yet.  I'm not saying man for man they are more talented than Fulton.  I'm saying as a unit they are very efficient at what they do.  It's evenly balanced run/pass.  They do both very well.  They can stretch you out side to side and down the field, then they slip a run on you.  This will take a great week of preparation, focus, and execution again to win this week.  I do think we will need to take advantage of both our kicking and return games.  It should be a great game.  

Remember it starts at 7:00 not 7:30.

AR, Its hard to say.  Both teams have a balanced attack on offense.  If the weather takes away the passing game to some degree and the teams have to go to a mostly running game, I think it favors us.  I think we have the better defense and running backs with 30, 24, 7. and 21.

If you have the Titans Blanket from the parking lot at the game last year, be honorable and leave it at the ticket booth for them to turn in to OR office.  If you do, will be greatly appreciated.

 

OR is stronger on D than I expected and should pull this one out.  Roll CATS!
