I tell what's nice.Going into a 2nd round game and 99.99% of the fans know there is nothing to say about what the likely outcome will be.We know that coach Ballard and  staff will take care of everything and if something goes wrong then it was meant to be because no other staff could have done any better.The 3rd round and going against one of the two or three teams best teams we will see in the playoffs is a different situation and those games are always who plays the best and makes the fewest mistakes.

Chatt Central has had a really nice year. 7-4 with a playoff win is huge for a program that was 0-10 before Braswell took over. Greenville names the score. It will be good for Chatt Central to play against the very best to see where they have to get to. Greenville rolls and is my pick to win 4A. But hats off to Chatt Central, they had a great season.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
