You brought up, East, Whites Creek and Republic, as to say something about our schedule. That's how I am taking it anyway.

Not at all.  You said Fairview was played close and I totally agreed.  I have stated repeatedly that Pearl-Cohn has played the toughest schedule in all of 3A football.  Marshall, Giles, Cordova, Cookeville, MBA, and CPA were all battles.  A couple of their non region games I helped Brunetti schedule.  That too is a statement of fact.

I know who you are! You and Brunetti talk that's a true statement.

Brunetti is a good friend and I've always tried to help him out anytime he's ever reached out to me.  I also attended UTM once upon a time and played college football with Harris.

This one is a bit different for obvious reasons (brother coaches at Fairview & I have also always had great friendship with their coaching staff through the years).  For me Friday night will be a great environment and I'll be happy for the winner and I'll congratulate the other on a tremendous season.

I'm finished waiting on you to show me where I've given a score prediction/winning school prediction to this week's game.

It wouldn't be the first time I've left Nashville disappointed on a Friday night that's for sure ;)

I won't allow you to experience that same feeling by leaving you completely disappointed since you claim I'm "picking Fairview" lol!  Go Jackets!

I think Ole Gerry Bertier will need to make the trip down to North Nashville after my alma mater TC Williams was eliminated by Lake Braddock in the playoffs. The boys don’t have the heart like we did when Coach Boone and Yoast led us to the state title.

It seems like we got some characters in here. That bolddust character reminds me of one of those coaches who Ron Bass showed up after my so called friend refused to block for Rev and he got hurt. Ole sunshine put him in his place.

Those Firebird fans seems like cocky Ed Henry who thought his team was the best thing since  shrimp and grits.

Howdy is just trying to bring everyone together like ole Louie Lastic.

    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
    • Dang I feel bad for the kid. I’m sure he loves his dad and wants to do anything for his dad but I don’t think he realizes his dad isn’t doing the best for his football career if he keeps jumping schools.
    • I’m not taking shots at the kid, but “athlete” is not something I would use to describe him. He was a long, lengthy, defensive back
    • Mistakes like that should never happen.
