What you don’t know is Ballard played only the first half out of 7 or 8 games. Played Science Hill and Db who would beat Ac as well. Don’t forget Ac opponent record was 33-67 while Greenevilles was like 55-45

The better team won hands down and is playing for another state title. That’s coming from Ac faithful that I know

All I can say is that I wish you guys well in the Championship, but, next year will be a different story and you guys will not be so lucky!

I don't think the better team won, I think that the team with the most depth won, we didnt have the depth that we needed. Like I said, next year will be a different story! We will just have to wait and see.

35-31 comeback complete! Ac couldn’t beat us up 21-0 and the ac defense couldn’t stop us enough.

I was nice and said congrats to him, but the stats speak for themselves, and I know you are gonna say, we played a weaker schedule, blah blah blah, Martin IS a better QB and will still be the better QB next year. I know that you dont want your friends to know that you feel that way, but you should really be honest with yourself and stop denying it. Ballard is a good QB, no one can take that from him, he is not as good as Martin. He should not have won Mr Football over Martin, however he did, how, to me escapes all logic

The Best doesn’t always win people geeeeezzzz! Go look at all the other contestants for the award. I guarantee you it’s the same way. Why would they give it to him with an embarrassing schedule like you guys had? They gave it to Ballard for being the better qb as well as playing tougher competition. 

Its the same way in college football with the committee.

Meant to say the best stats doesn’t always win. But you’ll hear what you wanna hear. Fact is The state voters see Ballard as the best and rightfully so! He won! And guess what Greeneville beat Ac! And guess what Greeneville plays for state Friday!
