None of this is anyone else’s problem. Catholic should be playing private, like the other privates. Travel time, etc. should factor into the decision on whether to send your kids there or not. And if it’s solely for a better education and not sports, that won’t be an issue.I can imagine that one gets a decent education at OR and other public schools, too.

Well said.

Travel time for sports should determine where you send your child to school? You can get a decent education at many public schools but others not so much. We're playing by the rules the TSSAA established. Again, our travel problem is different than any other private in east TN.

Didn't say it was you , your fellow Catholic Poster IrishBball decided that the best Defense is a great Offense and started pointing fingers at several public schools . I see why others would point fingers at Catholic with that attitude .

Just pointing out that most good programs have kids that aren't zoned there. As a Maryville fan I can't see where that would be an issue as long as it is done above board.

I didn’t say “determine”; I said “factor.”  We all have to make decisions.

yes, you are playing by tssaa rules. This is where my statement "you have alot to thank the tssaa for" came from.

I'm glad OR is playing Fri. Night it's ok with me we're playing Catholic. We have played Baylor, Brentwood Academy, Father Ryan in the past.

The fact that Knox Catholic has a unique geographical  issue should not be a burden on the surrounding public school systems and their students.

As far as the 1.8 rule....... Brentwood Academy has 700 + students grades 6-12.

Well I guess this is a win win situation for oak ridge if they lose its cause a Catholic cheated and if they win they are world beaters who beat the cheaters...I remember when I played and public schools wouldn't schedule Catholic because it was a lose lose situation. O well would love to talk football if anyone would like to do that
