As for GS, time for all parties to move on. A lot of people said from the very beginning the hire would end up being a mistake and they were right. Everyone and their brother knew the only reason Crockett hired him was because of who he is. Maybe this time they'll actually hire somebody who's qualified instead of someone simply because of their name.

I bet they hire a no-name that's not qualified.

I'm just curious, I played back a long time ago and we will leave it at that. lol But I remember hard nose coaches cussing out load, maybe a WTH, or S***, and in some cases a f bomb may have been dropped a time or two. But I can't remember anyone just out and out assaulting the players that way. I've been reading a lot of comments concerning the bus incident and do you guys believe that some guys are maybe embellishing the cussing they received when they played or is it real? I understand the bus video shows one incident but I have been told those kids live that cussing everyday. Especially the seniors, the seniors where allegedly told by GS that he had to get rid of them because they all were ruin from the previous coach. Just doesn't sound like a good environment.

I'd say most of these players have heard worse at home and from each other. I don't think any of these "kids" are scared for life the way some people are building this up to be. He's gone and will never coach again. This is getting to be like beating the dead horse.

Exactly.  Right now the waters are so muddied, but at the end of the day he will be fired, his lawsuit will not go through, and he will never coach again.  He made a laughable post the other day saying he was applying for the DB job.  No school system will touch him.  I also couldn't imagine anyone who really wants to step into the Washington County School System right now.  They have had so much drama, firings, crashes, investigations, and lawsuits that it's insane.

Well to no one's surprise GS announced on his FB page that he has officially applied for the DB job.  I put the odds of him being hired a notch below the odds of Nancy Pelosi endorsing Trump's re-election bid.

I agree with you, and yet if you read all the comments on his page apparently he has a lot of.... athletic supporters.

Take your choice.  Like I said earlier, had he played things cool he would be a top candidate for the job.  No school system wants to touch someone who will sue their employer and say things on social media.

I would be really surprised if he even gets an interview at this point.  Don't see the powers that be at DB wanting to get involved in that circus.

I’d hope for someone outside of the system who has some state championships under his belt.  I’d like to see DB back to being DB.  It’ll also be interesting to see who they go with at the new high school in Sullivan County in two years.
