New Tullahoma Coach, Moore Co fans will be happy

Cody McMurtry has been hired as Tullahoma head coach.  Amy Josephson never applied for the job. Cody was their 1st choice.

I think this is a smart hire for the time that THS is in. McMurty is not "just a middle school coach" as was suggested in other threads. He has experience at levels higher than high school and he truly has an interest in the kids of Tullahoma.

Yeah I agree, Plus he already knows most of the kids

Good luck to him. Hope he can get basketball to matter there and develop some of those kids into more than just role players.

Not what I heard. She did apply and not given job. Whether she did or not, she will do a good job.

Or when she expressed interest in the Job, but she was told the job was already filled. Because this all happened really fast.

I heard this also.  She applied and job was filled.

Her interest was in coaching the best player at THS who is leaving for another program with coaches in her aau team.
