Thanks guys. FA I totally agree. It's tough enough when they leave for a bigger school. Johns was a local guy. Seemed like he's be there forever.

2016- Moore Co seems to have improved the last few years. What do you know about him.

Thanks again fellas.

I think he is good.  Has a son that plays for him. He started as a Freshman last year. Might be a package deal.

South if "in house" means it's Stacey he's a great guy. We'd be fortunate

IDK if Coach S the D coach is ready, but we will see. Someone has to run the offense

From what I have noticed you have a outstanding Middle School Coach that has a good Offensive mind. Seems to score a lot of points. I saw them against Lewisburg last year and was impressed.

Just like with any passionate community there's a lot of guys that are very smart with the game but it's a time-consuming and stressful job one thing I wish that our community had done last year with show Coach Johns a little more grace as the season went on we had a very very young team and we had an immature team and those are two different things but we were both and we grew up and also got some easier opponents near the end and things kind of evened out but I will say that the fans were too rough on Coach John's last year and I hope that didn't play a factor

Dobbs is a great Coach.   He's a Kevin Creasy disciple and does things very similar.   He's big on facilities upkeep and the difference in Moore County's field after he took over was quickly noticeable.   I haven't heard anything about him being interested in the Forrest opening.    It would be an upgrade in facilities and roster size.   I'd assume a little more money also so who knows.

Forrest Job

School has the talent in grades 7-12 to be relevant/ dominant in 2A football for the next 6 years. Question is will they move up in classification next realignment?

The current team could easily average 40 points and 400 yards of offense per game in 2018.  Team could also have over 100 yards per game in penalties and get nowhere close to those marks. They have a physically talented group with a history of  immaturity and selfish antics that hurt the team.

Whoever gets the job will inherit a passionate fan base that will be your biggest advocate (if you're winning) and your harshest, loudest critic when things go south. This forum often times shows that Marshall County has more than its fair share of experts. :D

Marshall County pay is generally below average unless some boosters step up. Lots of turnover at this school going into the 2018-19 school year. IMO, unless a high level coach from outside wants the position this late they should promote from within (if they want it).
