Eagleville could beat CA; Lewis County could also but it's about as likely as Community winning out. There's a few different scenarios but more than likely the region will finish exactly like it did last season unless Forrest loses against Loretto. TheStuff
Region 5AA Standings 1) Lewis County (4-0) 2) Columbia Academy (3-0) 3) Eagleville (2-1) 4) Loretto (1-1) 5) Forrest (1-3) 6) Community (0-2) 7) Summertown (0-4) Region 5AA Schedule for Week 7 #2 Columbia Academy (6-0, 3-0) @ Div. II-AA Franklin Road Academy (4-2, 2-0) Community (1-5, 0-2) vs. Lewis County (5-1, 4-0) Eagleville (5-2, 2-1) open date Forrest (2-5, 1-3) @ Loretto (3-3, 1-1) Summertown (2-5, 0-4) @ 5A Mt. Pleasant (6-1, 3-1) Columbia Academy (#2) and Lewis County (#7) in current AP Top 10 #2 Columbia Academy (6-0, 3-0) continued to show regional dominance as they put away Community 55-20. This week the Bulldogs again step out of division to play Division Ii-AA Franklin Road Academy, their 3rd Division II opponent of the season. FRA will be hosting the Bulldogs this year after travelling to CA to come away with a decisive loss last year. Both have wins against Nashville Christian and Lipscomb Academy, with very similar scores. This could be the first test for the Bulldogs in weeks, but hard to see the Panthers derailing the train. Community (1-5, 0-2) was on the receiving end of a beat-down from Columbia Academy last week, and they could be staring down another one this week as they host #7 Lewis County (5-1, 4-0). The Panthers controlled Forrest last week, and their skill position players continue to display their big play potential while the defense continues to solidify. It is hard to see the Vikings putting many points on the board, and the Panther offense can score points quick, fast, and in a hurry. Eagleville (5-2, 2-1) handled 5A Richland last week, and gets this week off to prepare for a huge matchup with Columbia Academy next week. Forrest (2-5, 1-3) dropped their 3rd straight game, and continue to spiral out of playoff contention. This week is a huge regional matchup for the Rockets as they travel to Loretto (3-3, 1-1). The Mustangs are riding a streak of their own, a 3-game win streak and have an opportunity to put themselves in position for a playoff berth with a region win. The Mustangs haven’t won 3 games since 2014, and that was the last post-season appearance too. Forrest will need a better effort than they have been getting to keep their playoff hopes alive. Summertown (2-4, 0-3) dropped a region matchup last week to Loretto and step out of classification as they travel to play 5A Mount Pleasant. Summertown continues to struggle to score points, a problem the Tigers do not share. This should be another loss for the Eagles as the Tigers will defend “The Mount”.

Forrest/ Loretto winner CA with 3 Region games and all against teams in the hunt for the Region championship or a playoff spot. We will definitely get the best game out of those three teams. Winning the Region is doable but definitely not a cake walk as one boast on here. Especially if our heads get to big. Like everyone we have the goal to be playing past Thanksgiving but we have a lot of work to do before then.
