As for TC football, hopefully they will win these next few games and get hot when Keyvont gets back.  Hope to see these young men in Cookeville this year.

RTD I think you have great insight on here. But people forget in 2012 and 2014 people were complaining that we lost 4 games in both those years. Heck I think friendship beat us 31-0 and Gordonsville beat us 42- 0 or 7 one of those years as well. But that did not mean Creasy couldn’t coach! But this is just an old farmer who is speaking my opinion.

I agree with you. Creasy is a dang good coach and man. He has proven it. I think TC coach is gonna be a good one also. Lot of season left . Will be interesting to see when qb gets back!

Ok back to the game, what little film I have seen, Gville lives and dies by Braxton Givens, although the QB has a good arm I believe his receivers are a little suspect, will be interesting to see how our Sophomore G Butcher will play in his 1st start, Robert is a good physical kid, I think he will do fine, our linebackers will have to play a good game to limit givens.

Croz, you still help with the Jr. Pro League any? If I'm able to make the trip over, Ill look for you. Also how is Coach Shaw treating you all? He is a good guy. We go way back to Jr. Pro Football and Little League. 

As for the Tigers, I don't see a Victory for them this week. I know they will come out and play all out but I think TC will be too tough to tame. I expect at least a 6-4 record worst case for Gordy based on the remaining schedule. Jo Byrns and Clay Co are the 2 games I'm not sure about.

I do not help with Jr. pro league anymore. I was the league president last year, and was one and done. I do go to some of the games though.

I like Coach Shaw. We've been weak in the secondary for years, and I think he'll really help there.

It will definitely be tough this week, but I don't see the rest of our schedule giving us much problems.

I only mentioned ? on Jo Byrns and Clay Co as they are both undefeated to this point but they may have not played anyone much either. I would not be surprised with a 8-2 record.

What I have heard is grade 3 sprain and will be good to go in a few weeks or they opt to hold him til playoffs for good measure

Wagoner has proved he cant win even with superior talent! Satterfield could coach circles around this fellow.

He’s lost two games this year to two teams that had equal if not better talent. He actually beat one that probably had better talent than TC did especially on the line with Friendship. Do you think Satterfield would have sat qb out when he coached? I know he wouldn’t have. I played on teams who had guys do much worse than what this kid did.
