I have no issue with AC starters playing the whole game, that's a Head Coaching decision that can have a risk/reward outcome. Clinton cant be mad nor do I really think they were, But AC coaches cant get mad if one of their key players gets hurt or not. That's the risk/reward outcome I was referring to. In a rival game, where tempers are already on edge, no way would I have my starters in up 30. I played in the Powell vs Halls rival game and believe me I know all about some cheap shots and dirty playing. If Powell EVER tried to embarrass me; well I'm taking someone out, night night, better have your head on a swivel.

Number 55 for AC does like to, for lack of better terms, "flop" when he gets hit. At AC vs SD scrimmage this summer, big 55's helmet came off and he decided to throw it at a player. First personal foul penalty. Two series later drove a player to SD's sideline and then did a cheap shot on a player and then acted like he was hurt. Got up two minutes later completely fine. Personal foul number 2. Don't get me wrong, I love a player who is a little dirty and gets a personal foul here and there but it seems like he can't be controlled at times.

  Think about this.  AC/CC don't play.  AC/Powell don't play, now AC/Clinton shouldn't play?  Do you see the trend here?  Why can't the adults grow up and show some professionalism, leadership, and teach some sportsmanship to these young men.

FYI, I played college ball. No hatred whatsoever. Just clowning 2 clowns is all. There was a really good video posted on facebook that clearly shows The AC athletic director (AKA mighty mouse) starting this whole altercation. Its to bad, because Davey Gilliam is a top tear coach and person. He just has a few idiots making their staff look bad. Get smart coach G, fire their aZZs. Be the first head coach to tell his athletic director "YOUR FIIRRRRD".

LOL Trump good one. Yeah actually though I still firmly believe that GT is a pretty smart coach. He really does well with the players from what I have seen. Of course I have not seen all either way. I think he brings a lot to the table at AC. I think he has been really good support for Davey. This incident I do still have an opinion of course as I think Clinton coach knew just how to get to my nephew Russ and Terry. But he did not get to Davey that of course is what he wanted. Just my opinion. At some point the players really needed some of the support Russ and GT gave them but the taunt just escalated Big Russ and sometimes it is just too hard to hold back. That is just like the occasional cheap shots but neither are justifiable.

I cannot confirm this, but a little birdie told me that AC coach Ted Phillips made a comment to Mckamey about his son being lucky to make it off the field alive after that game. Thus the reason Phillips was dismissed as a coach.
