word from across the river is this is the year that CHS is going to put a whoppin' on ole HC.  Getting people back from injury.  Think it should be a good one.  Hopefully RHS does well tonight.  Hood maybe getting it turned around.  He just may not be able to do a great job in the first game of the season but seems to pick it up after that.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Don't be a Tall Tail Teller. Nobody believes HC will be whooped or manhandled in their own house. And the CHS faithful know that it is a tall order to simple get a Win in Paris.

But for the first time in a long while, we actual have hope and believe we have what it takes to beat the Mighty Patriots.

There's a lot of football to be played tonight, and both sides win if it is a hard fought, close game.

Good Luck Patriots. May both sides stay healthy.

Go Cats!

Amen to that! Wonder how the "foreigners" on here would respond if the Red Warrior were still posting on here. Speaking of, I wonder what has happened to him. He had an uncanny ability to stir the pot to a feverish level.Maybe he is waiting for Germantown week since his field of expertise was Memphis area schools I for one would love to hear from him. Also, what has happened to Fastcat, a Kenwood homie, who always extolled the Knights and any other Clarksville team the Patriots were playing?

                     GO BIG RED.

Bring on the "foreignors"! For those who don't remember me, I'm a retired coach of 30+ years. I did most all of my coaching in the Mississippi/Memphis area. I always read this stuff but a bit of poor health in recent years has kept me from posting. I'm doing better but not out of the woods. I still reside in Henry County but I haven't been to a game in a while. It's nice to be remembered olddevil, so thank you.

Count me as a rememberer too.  I try to stir up the enemy but never with the success you had.

I never realized that I had that reputation. I actually believed what I was saying but was maybe more blunt than I should've been. My wife has always told me that and my AD always said that I was a bit on the blunt side. Oh well, everyone knew where I stood. Good luck tonight Henry County. It sounds like this is one of the better teams in recent years.

    • Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year
    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.
    • 1st round exit?        For real ?!?!?!                     Oh wait.....    are we talking band or football?
    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
