If TC can throw he ball effectively, they can win by 4-5 TD’s. If they have to solely rely on the run game, Westy will keep this close. Their LB’s are tough and great tacklers. TC will not line up and cram it down their throats for 32 minutes. If Ford is really out and 8 doesn’t play, TC is  not explosive enough to blow anyone worth a durn out.

Ford is not on team anymore. TC will have to win without him. Actually the two games they have won have been without him. They may or may not have 8 back. Westmoreland is always tough.

To be honest, I think Linarez #4 Is the best back they have, and no one can catch #6. So they have plenty of explosiveness.

LOL! Ford is on a completely different level from either of those kids. He did fumble against Watertown, but anyone there will verify he is the real deal with the ball in his hands and getting north/South. They beat Watertown if they stay in the I Formation all night and feed #2 the ball. Not sure why he got kicked off, but I can’t imagine it’s any worse than what 8 did to get suspended for 7 games. TC is falling apart the closer we get to the playoffs. I thought they were hands down the favorite to win the gold ball in 2A. Now I don’t think they make the semifinals.

2 is good player but he had been given chance after chance. Glad to see our Coach make a stand. Life lesson for the kid. You don’t act the way you want to act. It’s a team game. Team is much bigger than one person. TC looked like a team Friday night. Ride with Satterfield and Linarez . Dependable and committed.

Again, not sure of his history or issues. His talent is undeniable. Sometimes cutting one loose will pull a team together. As I have said, TC’s defense is good enough to beat anyone in 2A. Offensively, they are very vanilla and not very explosive against good competition. That may change when 8 comes back, but if Ford hadn’t played against Watertown, TC loses by 21. If he is willing to move, I am sure we can find a spot for him in Macon and he can pick what position he wants to play.

TC will be fine.

Westmoreland by 10! Tate sloan will have a great night

Through 4 games TC has allowed in terms of rushing defense 74 yards against Friendship, 100 against Gordonsville, 120 against Lebanon and 140 against Watertown.

For the most part teams haven't had too much success running the ball against them.

So how does Westmoreland stack up against the teams that TC has faced so far? Lebanon, Watertown, Friendship and Gordonsville. Because I could be wrong but I believe TC has had +200 yards (+300 against Gordy and Friendship) rushing in each of those games.

And aside from a couple long runs have pretty much stopped the run in each of these games.

I have seen Westmoreland twice and they are nowhere near as big or fast as Lebanon, Friendship or Watertown on either side of the ball. I would say they are on par with Gordonsville.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
