He got his team put on probation last year for illegal practice with middle school girls by the TSSAA. Only thing he has ever won was a few middle school games at Rhea county. Ask the Rhea county administration, like Jesse messimer what they think about him!!! Couple of key kids are looking to move to walker valley or bradley at xmas break that he doesn't even know about. Interesting... when will we find out who is transferring?

McMinn also handled WV to most likely lock down a top 4 finish for the season.
SJF
McMinn looked really good against WV! Seniors Hennessee and Burns are really good players! WV's real good PG Davis went down early with a knee injury! Hoping for the best for her she is a real good player!

Now the score I saw makes more sense. Best wishes to her on a speedy recovery.

Watched her play for many years in AAU and school ball! Prayers are with her!

WV is an average team with Davis. Without her they're not very good at all. Hennessee is one of the top players in the district. Burns is solid contributor, as are many of the younger players for McMinn. They started out well last year but folded the second half of the season with a good team, then they lost in the first round of the district tourney to the 5th place team. Coaching hasn't changed for the Lady Cherokees, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them lost 5-6 games of the remaining 9 games on their schedule. McMinn has the talent to win 6-7 of the remaining games but I still think 4-5 or 3-6, depending whether or not Cleveland gets some of their starters back. especially if Hennessee isn't playing. She's been having back problems so the Dr. told her no more playing until they receive results from her MRI tomorrow.
