FORREST AT LORETTO

After seeing both teams I believe that Forrest is better on defense than Loretto. On offense there’s not a lot of difference. Both like to take a shot downfield with their QBS being about even. GA is not goin to agree, but Forrest has the edge in coaching. Forrest is the more physical team. Loretto will gain a little since it’s a home game and they are on a two game winning streak.

So who you picking? This game is pretty much for a playoff spot right?

Both teams look to be even talent wise. What gives Forrest the coaching advantage in your opinion? Last season Forrest had a big advantage in talent at home but Loretto’s Offense (especially QB) gave us fits.

Loretto was very physical against Summertown in a smart way. Summertown had multiple personal fouls -just blatant cheap shots and Loretto kept their cool.  That’s usually a sign of mature players and good coaching. The Loretto RBs look good - if they bust through LOS I doubt either of our safeties can bring them down.

Whichever team can pass a little will have an advantage.  Loretto’s DBs are suspect. If they stay in their base defense with 4 down lineman our RB’s will have a big game.

I think Forrest coaches did what they needed to on offense. The running game wasn’t there, they started the game with 20 rushes for 16 yds,  so they threw the ball. They were 6 of 14 for 85 yds and a TD. Loretto on the other hand stayed with the run even down 29-0 in the 1st which allowed LC to load the box. I also believe that Forrest had a better Defensive game plan than Loretto. I’m not sure who to pick yet. Loretto has mighty Mo on there side. Also, do you believe that Forrest will throw in the towel if things don’t start well for them?
