I thought Maryville played great last night.  Defense was lights out. Both Quarterbacks are getting better each week.

Very surprised with the game last night. Also was surprised the concession stand had Chick Fil A's left when I arrived but one of my sandwiches I believe was the Rooster.

One thing I did notice, the Owl had the slowest consistent shotgun snap I think I've ever seen at the high school level. Center lobbed it back there all night. That gives a defense a nice advantage if they are quick off the ball.

It drives me bonkers at times but they aren't breaking the cover 2 much. I have liked the adjustment to seeing a 3 man front more, fits the strengths of the team more so than a 4 man front.

Defense was in position to make the tackle just about all night. Tackling still isn't perfect, but they are miles ahead of where they were before the off week.

The offense, however, is fun to watch. I remember one bad throw and one drop, but that's it.
