I'm predicting either Springfield, or Southside out of the West vs. Greeneville or Maplewood, or Anderson County in the East.  Don't all you Devil fans chime in at once.  I know Greeneville is a machine. Machines break down sometimes

I doubt you see south side out of the West. Their guy at RB is out for the rest of the year after an injury before last weeks game. Last week they play a very bad 1A team and only beat them 42-13 we (Peabody beat the team 72-0) I think you may see a dyersburg team out of the West. They are a well coached team with good weapons on the defensive side of the ball. By no means will the beat Greeneville. No one from this area will beat them IMO.

They didn't score an offensive TD against UC with Latham still in,they are undefeated AMD ranked lower than Northside in Sonny M. simply because of a melted butter schedule !!!!

Yes. Their region is weaker than 1a in this area. Non region games are against subpar 1A or 2A teams. Don’t get me wrong that RB was a stud, but I think I could rush for 2,000 yards against teams that look like middle school players.

I haven't been impressed by southside either.. I honestly think the 3 possible teams that'll come from out west will be either Haywood, Dyersburg, or springfield

Those will be the smart picks to go with. I’ve seen dyersburg once this year. Haven’t seen Haywood, that’s why I haven’t said anything about them.

Haywood's beginning to peak at the right time, getting away from injuries. The playoffs will be extremely entertaining this year.

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
