William Blount @ Stone Memorial

I am more convinced than ever that there is some kind of supernatural barrier between this program and 4 wins. We've seen this before... Only a placeholder game stands between WB and that fourth win and they somehow find ways to lose and go 3-7. This sucks because winning 4 games would have been huge for this program. I cant say I'm surprised though.

Yes Shad was saying in the paper yesterday that Four wins would have been the best record since 2011, the paper also had the win-loss record of stone memorials schedule and William Blount schedule and of course Stone memorials was less than impressive and William blounts opponents win loss record was actually better and then they lose to a stone Memorial team that plays a very weak region against very bad teams regardless of win their loss record. 91 this is the only time I've actually felt bad for you guys this was just unbelievable!

As Bob Dylan would say, Everybody must get Stoned. Unbelievable, not even a ballgame and WB definitely must have got stoned. I was hoping they would go out 4-6 so bad and give this program something to build on for next season but to completely collapse to a team that got whipped by a team you actually beat and has a schedule full of teams like  Mother's Academy of Wayward Son's. All I have to say is if the leaders of Blount County are happy with this kind of garbage you need to look no further than your own nose when you start wondering why parents of some of your kids jump the fence and go to other schools.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
