When you get this far in the playoffs, especially with 4 evenly matched teams, it’s all about matchups. If Cornersville has any weakness at all on defense, it’s the secondary (and I’m nit picking). Lake County will have to be able to move the ball via the air if they hope to pull this one out Friday. I know the Desmond Johnson kid is a beast, but I can’t fathom him be able to run the ball successfully on the Bulldog defense. I think the advantage on the both sides of the LOS is the difference in this game. I don’t think Lake County will be able to hold up for 4 quarters against the Cornersville O/D-Line. Nobody in 1A ball will beat Cornersville if they don’t have a successful passing game. You can’t line up and run the football against this bunch. 

I love ya homie but I'm telling ya this lake county squad can run the ball on any team as long as we make our assignments. One reason we started slow early in the season imo is because we had worked on strength more than stamina if ya get what I'm saying. These guys were costly lifting for strength. Now that we are 13 games into the season the stamina is there and the strength has always been there. So I give our running game a better chance than most. That's not at all saying y'all are not good On defense. On the contrary y'all are going to be the toughest and most disciplined defense we have seen in two years at least. Maybe I'm wrong but that's including y'alls defense from last year that shut us out. But we are well seasoned this year and these guys are clicking very good right now. We haven't had to pull out all the stops per say. Really not all season have we showed totally what we can do offensively. West Carroll game cpl weeks ago is a glimpse I believe. I love what you guys have been able to do this year. Very proud of the Bulldogs and definitely respect the level of intensity they play with. But I think it will be at most a 28- 21 lake county win. Could be another7-0 game lake county's way this time tho. But if we don't show up to play the best football we've played in our high school career so far I fear y'all will win this one also. I believe our guys are up for the challenge. Our O line is playing great and with Tanner throwing really well lately we have several targets for him to throw to and we will take some short passes if you give them up. Larry is healthy and running the rock as good as anyone. He will flat go through you lol.  And I think our defense is a lot better than most realize. Gonna be a great game no matter what!!

I saw the playoff game last year. Lake Co got down the field quickly on the last drive of the game when they were short in time. Did it mainly with short passes to the outside. Don’t know why they waited so long to do this. Had a lot of success when they got their athletes in space. I would start there if I was the falcons. This will open up things for Dez if they have success. Just my two cents.
