Uh and cosby will represent region 1 in the glass house

No Meigs nor GCA in substate; No Memphis Mitchell nor Clay Co at state, and it was just said that UH played the worst offensive game of the year and handled Harriman. Wild how times change.

Cosby won and Didn’t play well offensively either..we were 15 points better than Oneida..we’re due for a good shooting game..id like to play UH again

You're not 15 points better except in your own mind. That was the worst offensive game oneida has had in a long while. Normally hit 7-10 3's per game and our FG percentage was way below norm. Credit where it's due, Cosby is a very good defensive team and had a lot to do with our poor offensive performance I admit. Just wish you were willing to admit maybe oneida had something to do with the lack luster offensive showing y'all had. That game was 2 teams that looked like they'd never saw a court in the first half and a really hard fought close game in the second.

The real difference in this one was at the free throw line. Cosby was on point from the line, Oneida was not.

Oneida isn’t bad by any means..I could tell 11 had the ability to get hot..40 is a good role player, botts is a good pg and Yancy plays bigger than he is..but we missed idk how many layups..worst game our posts had played maybe all year and we still won on the road and never trailed the entire game..our guards didn’t shoot good either..24 is about our 4th scoring option for us and he took over..good thing is we’re do for a good shooting game

That's my point also, we missed numerous "sure thing" shots all night as well. Honestly between a solid Cosby defense and our players being a little overwhelmed by the circumstances we also underperformed on a level I haven't witnessed in a long time, maybe ever this season anyway. Neither team impressed with their offense that night but it was an entertaining game. Cosby opened with a 7-2 run and the lead stayed around 2 - 6 points except for a couple of minutes in the third where it stretched to 9. Then quicklyback to a few point lead. Ending with a 2 point lead with 9 seconds in the game and 22 iced it with his 2 Free throws. I'd have to look at the paper for the official stats but my thoughts about the difference being free throws still stands. Cosby was lights out from the line, Oneida simply shot poorly from the line as well as the field. Again credit a good defense for the field Stat.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
